Birthday Party FAQ

General Policy: All parties REQUIRE a reservation. All reservations must be made online a min of 72 hours in advance (walk-in/reserve a table option excluded). To have the ability to bring in a cake/cupcakes you must either book a full party package or pay a $25.00 table fee.

Public Session Party Packages

The information below pertains to the following packages: Silver, Silver Plus, Gold, Platinum, Super Plus, Unicorn Themed, VIP, & Decades Themed Party during Sat/Sun 2-5pm & Fri/Sat 8-11pm sessions.

Birthday Child + Guest Count

1. Does the birthday child count towards the package?

Yes, the birthday child is considered Guest #1.


2. What if I have twins, triplets, etc?

Each birthday child would be counted towards your guest count.

3. What happens if I have more than the allotted guests in the base package?

You will be charged for the min of the package most have a min of 10 guests except the Unicorn Plus + Super Party Plus which has a min of 20 guests. If you go over the 10 min you will be charged accordingly based on the package price (ex: Silver Party: $14pp, Gold Party: $16pp, etc)

We CANNOT add on guests to the Super Party Plus or the Unicorn Plus due to the cupcake arrangement is a max of 20 guests.

Skating, Rentals,  
Skate Mates + Dress Code

1. Is skate rental included in the package price?

Yes, all paid guests receive skate rentals. Choice of clip-on skates, adjustable skates, regular quad skates, speed skates, or inline skates. Please remember we have over 500 pairs of skates but only so many of each size available - on busy days we can run out of popular sizes. If you own skates we do recommend bringing them. All outside skates brought into the facility are subject to inspection & can be denied use if not properly maintained to the point of being unsafe to you or others or possibly could cause damage to our skating surface.


2. Are skate-mates included in my package?

No, skate mates are not included in any package. We offer the option to reserve 1 skate-mate for the birthday child in advance but all others are first come, first serve - $5 each.

3. Skating Surface Rules:

  • We do NOT permit Hats on the skating surface at any time. 

  • We do not permit parents to walk on the floor with children at any time. We provide a baby floor at the front of the rink for parents to assist children in learning to skate.
     

4. Dress Code:

  • No tops with cut-outs, showing excessive cleavage or stomach. No sports bras or bra-type shirts.

  • No tube or strapless tops. 

    • Tank Tops & Spaghetti Strap top ARE permitted as long as they are NOT low-cut showing excessive cleavage.

  • No super short shorts, skirts, or spandex shorts. 

    • Skating in Dresses or Skirts is NOT recommended.

    • *Leggings ARE Permitted & do NOT have to be covered with an extra long shirt*

  • No bandanas. 

  • No inappropriate or graphic t-shirts. 

  • No sagging pants.

  • No visible undergarments. 

Parents of Guests + Siblings

1. Skating Parents?

Skating Parents will be charged the entry fee/rental fee of session. Please see our hours page for pricing. You can choose to pay for skating parents or have them pay for themselves. Please indicate this on your guest list paperwork.

2. Non-Skating Parents?

Non-Skating Parents are NOT charged a spectator fee with purchase of a packaged party.

 

Please Note: Walk-In Parties/Reserve a Table parties this does NOT Apply - Non-Skating Adults will be charged a $5.00 specator fee.

3. Siblings of Guests?

We HIGHLY recommend putting on the invites if siblings are included or not in your child's birthday party. If they are NOT a listed guest on your guest list - they will be required to pay the session entry price at the cashier booth. We charge ALL children ages 3-17 years old entry - skating or not. If siblings are NOT included in the guest list they will NOT be covered under food/drink/paper/plastic products.

Seating, 
Server,

Decor

1. Where will my table be?

All packages EXCEPT VIP & Decades Packages will receive reserved seating in our cafe. VIP & Decades parties will be in our VIP by the DJ Booth with blacklights.

2. How many tables will we receive? 

Generally, each table fits 10 guests & most packages have a min of 10 guests. All parties will receive a min of 1 table & we can expand as guests arrive. Unicorn Plus + Super Party Plus will automatically receive 2 tables.

 

Please note: Parents of Guests do NOT receive reserved seating, we generally have plenty of extra seating in and around the cafe they can utilize.

3. Do we have a dedicated server?

While we do not provide a dedicated server to each party, we will have a hostess who will check you in for your party at the front door, direct you to your table, take your food/drink order, cook your food, deliver your items to your table, be available for any questions/concerns and clean up after your party.

 

Please Note: the Hostess does NOT serve each slice of pizza or cut your cake, you will be responsible for those items.

4. What paper/plastic products are provided? And what theme?

We provide the basics - table cloth, cups, pizza + cake plates, napkins, forks/spoons. Most parties a generic Happy Birthday Theme is provided unless you order a Unicorn/Decades package then we would provide the coordinating decor.

5. Can I bring my own themed paper/plastic products/balloons? 

Yes! We ask you to package your items in a bag with the date of the party, child name, time of party & package purchased the week of your event. Please see our hours page for our weekly sessions. We will set them up free of charge. If you are bringing balloons please bring them the day of the event - we will not accept them early. We do not fill balloons.

6. Can I bring goody bags?

Yes! We just ask no gum, slime, glitter, confetti, silly string, or orbeez in the bags & they be passed out as the children are leaving.

 

7. What type of decor can't I bring?

We do NOT permit the following: 

  • Any type of hanging decor, banners, pinatas.

  • No glitter, confetti, gender reveal cannons or silly string.

  • No balloon arches or photo stations.*

  • No outside character actors.*

*If you are interested in having these items - We permit these items to be brought in when you RENT THE RINK for a Private party.

8. Is gratuity included in my base party price?

No, gratuity will be added on the day of the party. You will receive your end-of-event bill about 30 mins before the end of the skating session & we will add 18% gratuity, 7% FL Sales tax, & a 3% CC fee (if applicable).

Food, Drink, & Cake

1. What am I permitted to bring into SpinNations?

We do NOT permit ANY outside food or drink. This includes water bottles, sports drinks, donuts, Ice cream, etc.

2. Am I allowed to bring a cake?

Yes, we allow cakes, cupcakes, or cookie cakes! We do not supply cake or cupcakes unless you book the Silver Plus, Unicorn Plus, or Super Party Plus Package. We ask no cakes that require to be refrigerated or frozen (ice cream cakes) - we do not have the space to hold them.

 

3. What if a child has a food allergy?

We ask you to note that upon making your reservation or e-mail us afterwards. We permit a packed lunch/snack to be brought in for children with allergies.

4. Do you provide candles, lighters, or cake cutters?

Generally no, none of those items are Included with any package. We try to keep a supply of those items on the property to purchase in case you forget those items but they may not always be in stock or available

​

5. Do you sing Happy Birthday?

YES! After all parties are served their food/drink we will instruct you to start getting your cakes & candles out. Please follow staff instructions on when to light them as we will prepare the music, turn off the cafe lights and everyone will sing Happy Birthday together!

Check In + Payment

1. What time can I check in to set up my party?

We permit you to check-in 5 mins prior to party start time.

2. What documents do I need for check-in?

  • Drivers License/ID

  • Valid Credit or Debit Card

  • Printed & Compled Guest List 

 

3. What happens if I am running late for my party?

Unfortunately, we will not be able to start checking in your guests until the responsible person for the party arrives on the property to check-in.

​

4. What payments do you accept day of?

We accept all major credit/debit cards, apple pay, android pay, + cash. We do NOT accept checks at anytime.

5. Billing?

Around 30 mins before the close of session you will receive your final bill with your deposit applied towards your balance. We ask you make your way to the cashier to complete payment.

​

6. When do I get my CC & ID back? 

Upon check-in we will hold your CC & ID in our office with a manager. Upon completed payment we will return those items to you.

Additional Important Information

  • Alcohol is NOT permitted at ANY time on the property.
     

  • SpinNations is a skate-at-your-own-risk facility. We do not carry liability insurance. We do not recommend skating if you are pregnant, have pre-existing medical conditions, or do not have medical insurance.
     

  • Online Reservations must be made a min of 72 hours prior to event.
     

  • Party Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. You have 1 year to reschedule your event if needed. We do require a minimum of 48 hours notice or you may incur a rescheduling fee.
     

  • Gratuity is NOT included in your base package price. We will add 18% gratuity to your bill at checkout. If you feel the service was not satisfactory please speak to the manager on duty BEFORE leaving.
     

  • Table Service: You will have your table for the entire 3-hour session but generally table service will consist of 2 hours.
     

  • End of Party: Once your party has ended, you have 15 mins to collect your items and clear the building so our staff can prep for the next event. Failure to do so resulting in our staff not being able to serve the next event may result in a $25 fine.​
